Well, this is in Riviera Maya, we took a ferry ride from the island of Cozumel to Playa del Carmen (mainland) and a van to here, where the Rio Secreto (Secret River) is.105 viewsHad the description been more detailed, we may not have taken this excursion. When we got together with our group which consisted of just the four of us. The other couple was two newly weds of twenty-something. About three years ago, it was rediscovered by a local farmer. It is a cave complex that stretches for miles including an underground river. They have just started conducting tours on a small part of it in the past 18 months.
