This cliff dwellings (alcove) is Cliff Palace which is 86 feet deep and about 300 feet wide. It had 150 rooms and 23 kivas (round sunken rooms for ceremonial purposes), and had about 100 inhabitants.110 views

Today we have an open day on the tour schedule, so we signed up for the optional river rafting.109 viewsWe have had wonderful weather, but it was raining today. River rafting in the rain should be fine, we will get wet regardless. We have been really lucky with the weather. It rained on this day and one other time when we were traveling in our coach. That was it, all the other days, we had sunny and 50-70 degree weather.
