This morning we visited Mesa Verde National Park.72 viewsMesa Verde (Green Table) National Park is the first UNESCO World Hermitage Site in the US. It is the largest archaeological preserve in the US. The Pueblo native Americans inhibited Mesa Verde from AD 600 to AD 1300. They abandon the site in the start of the 15 century possibly due to the deforestation of the area by over usage.
